Because it may be the most important thing you ever do.
Diogenec Group is simply a different type of service provider. The founding partners share significant operational history, clinical expertise, and strategic planning and execution experience-- close to 100 years of public service, including 50+ years of emergency preparedness, homeland security and bioterrorism related work. This experience both predates 9/11 and has helped form the foundation for exemplary emergency preparedness and homeland security programs.
Diogenec Group expertise is supported by consultative excellence that brings leading theorists and practitioners together to provide the right solution, on time and on target.
Diogenec Group was formed to promote the next generation of preparedness, based on the belief that the systems, methods, and techniques developed for the Cold War Soviet threat, while valuable, have limited applicability to today's threats. In fact, we believe that well intentioned adherence to the conventional wisdom can have disastrous consequences if the present peril or emerging threat is not anticipated and an appropriate response planned. We also know that life changing events can occur in an instant. Diogenec Group's founders and SMEs include individuals who were at the Pentagon on 9/11, who responded to the World Trade Center events in 1993 and 2001, who provided education and services as part of the response to the anthrax attacks, and who were instrumental in identifying the emergence of SARS to the Western World. We have been members of governmental panels and have participated in writing emergency preparedness plans. From advocacy to execution, the Diogenec Group offers unsurpassed experience and expertise.
Exceptional insight and professional expertise are hallmarks of our efforts. We have contributed to a nationwide assessment of mental health residential treatment centers, the examination of suicide in the military, and research on psychological trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Diogenec Group professionals have designed, fielded, trained, maintained, and deployed hospital and surge medical equipment systems. From analysis to program design to execution to evaluation, Diogenec Group offers superior support to government, industry, and academia.
In the words of one of our clients:
"You have been there, have assimilated lessons learned,
and can help us get where we need to be."

Emergency preparedness, planning and evaluation, readiness support, and technical training
Diogenec Group LLP, was formed in early 2005 to be a premier source of medical subject matter experts (SMEs) for emergency preparedness, homeland security planning and evaluation, programmatic execution, and technical training.
A single, fully integrated source of expertise, Diogenec Group can address the emergency preparedness needs of hospitals and health systems, public health, and government operations related to the medical aspects of homeland security. Our experience includes needs analysis, program implementation, organizational redesign, evaluation of state laws, and design and fielding of surge medical equipment systems.
In 2008, Diogenec Group expanded its activities to include consultative support for medical, dental, and behavioral health programs; building, training and maintenance of medical surge equipment sets; and scientific and medical research.
Diogenec Group is structured to provide relevant, forward-looking expertise, doctrine, equipment, and training. We integrate proven guidelines and systems with leading developments that address today’s threats. Continuing relationships across government, industry, public health, and academia offer access to thought leadership and operational excellence.
The differentiating feature of Diogenec is unsurpassed expertise. The founding partners draw from significant experience in the disciplines that converge to form the medical portion of Homeland Security. In fact, each partner had an integral role in developing some of the early initiatives in Homeland Security that predated September 11, 2001. These efforts are highlighted in the biographical summaries. Additionally, Diogenec Group includes a broad range of SMEs representing the leaders in several areas, in many cases the individuals who established the standards for their discipline.
